Guide on Claims

In order to ensure that claims are attended and finalised within the agreed time frames, all claims should be submitted directly to the Insurer / Underwriter using the appropriate claims submission channels.

Complaints

In the event that you may have an issue of unhapiness to raise, kindly be at liberty to contact the BIC Compliance Officer. ALL Compliance related issues and complaints can be directed to:

Should a complaint not be resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate the complaint to either the FAIS Ombudsman or the Long-Term Insurance Ombudsman, whose details are set out below. Note that you must be able to show that you have already attempted to resolve the matter with BIC first.
